Tuesday 22nd June 2010, 11:10 united kingdom Author David SubjectNew photos Message Hi everyone, hope you like the new photos on the front page, will be adding a new page soon with a gallery of images from each year.

Also hoping you all can help, going through the thousands of photos I have from all the years at camp I am finding it real difficult to identify a specific photo that depicts camp. It seems International Camp means a lot of things and involves a lot of activities and stuff.

Do you have a photo that you think identifies International Camp?

Do you have a photo that depicts what International Camp life is all about?

Please let me have it, email it and we will display the best results.

Send the photo along with a title and short description of what you think it means to photos@internationalcamp.co.uk

You never know we may even be able to make this into a competition and you may win something, no promises but will keep you informed.

Have fun and look forward to your ideas.

Thursday 30th July 2009, 07:58 united kingdom Author David SubjectNice day out in Cambridge Message Had the day off work and visited Cambridge yesterday to see some of my International Camp friends, Gerry, Andreas, Javier and Francesco were all there all looking relaxed although a little tired after expedition...

Paul couldn't make it as he was in hospital with a German girl who was having an appendix operation; hope she is well...

Was good to see everyone again, made me wish I was taking part again, maybe one day soon.

Sunday 31st May 2009, 11:58 uk Author David Radisic SubjectNew Website and guestbook Message Hi everyone,

Hope it was not too much of a shock to find the new website. I hadn't actually planned the new design but decided I needed to strip a lot of the unused dead wood out.

Please let me know what you think, if something has been taken away that you want me to put back then please ask.

If I get no feedback then I will assume you all love it but it would be nice to hear what you think.

Either post a message here or send a message using the contact us pages.

Thanks and have fun with the new design.

Sunday 17th August 2008, 03:00 united kingdom Author David Radisic SubjectWhats up Message WOW! Good camp! I enjoyed running the Night Cafe with my very good friends Jenny and Fine as well as Miguel the Spanish Naughty Naughty!os.

Hope everyone liked the cafe!! I know that some of the French individuals did as they ate all our ham and cheese and Nutella during the day. We managed though...

Loved being part of camp again and if Paul allows it I would love to come back next year to help run the Media team and have a newsletter again. Let me know what you think of this idea.

Why has no-one used the guestbook since before camp???

Bye for now, see you all soon.

David (night cafe Sandwich chef).

Friday 11th July 2008, 09:47 united kingdom Author David Radisic SubjectNight Cafe and Day Cafe (24 hour Cafe???) Message Hi everyone, Me (David) and Miguel (of Spanish gender) and Jenny and Fine (from Germany) will be running the cafe this year.

Curtis will be joining us as our resident (in-cafe) guitarist/dj to keep everyone chilled out and happy as usual.

Will be doing the standard "sarnies" such as sausage, bacon, egg as well as pancakes and (hopefully) pizzas.

But if you have any ideas, suggestions or advice please let us know.

What would you like in the cafe?
Would you like smoothies?
What don't you want?
How much would you like to pay for the food?
What would make it the place to come?

It's not our first time at camp but it is our first time running the cafe so be gentle...

Enjoy your first week and expeditions, wish we could be coming along too.

We will see you all in the second week.

Most importantly the Members registration and login is now working, no features have been enabled yet but the photo gallery and news/event system will be running very soon.

Other new members features will be added as I get the chance. Let us know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

I have posted a list of all village names throughout the years starting with 1993 which is when village names started to become more inventive and made up, I will be adding the ID badges as well as village photos if I have them. If you have any scans of village photos throughout the year then please email them to me and I will add them too.
Send photos to david at internationalcamp dot co dot uk

For those with Google Earth I have placed a link to Mersea on the About Camp pages, let us know other useful Google Earth links and I can add those into the links page.

RSS feeds are now available for those who wish to keep up to date with news and events.

Take it easy and see you all again soon.

Monday 22nd January 2007, 09:45 united kingdom Author David Radisic SubjectNew website Message OK, here I go again, redesign of the website, and I need your help.

Please, please, please let me know what it is you would like to see on this site.

I am thinking of a Past/Present/Future style so people can go direct to what they want.

Past - Old campers whoc want to keep in touch.
Present - Camp as it happens or just gone.
Future - All about the next camp and how to join.

What do you think?

Do you like the idea?

Do you hate it?

Do you have anything better to say?

Please let me know. After all it is your site.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I know this because I have been getting lots of returned or bounced emails which were sent to bad email addresses. The email addresses look like real emails addresses, which I recognise, but sent to @internationalcamp.co.uk rather than the original such as @hotmail.com etc.

If you cannot afford an anti-virus package then check out AVG from www.grisoft.com its free for personal use.

Or check your computer online at housecall.trendmicro.com

Please stop these viruses.

For all those that ordered the picture disc you should have them by now or at least recieve them sometime this week.

Some of you have said you are having problems with the Movies... My mistake :S I used AVI DivX format and so your media player of choice should have a DivX codec installed to be able to play the movies.

If I had realised this at the time I would have put the codec on the disc. Sorry :S

To download the 1.5.2 codec visit www.divxmovies.com/software :)

Let me know if you have any further problems and have fun. ;)
