The art tent and camp itself will never be quite the same without Mick and his unique presence at camp.
Over the many years at camp his support and hard work will never be forgotten by those who knew him and respected him.
Paul Button said "On a personal note he was a friend mentor pain in the neck and all-round great bloke who I will miss dearly".
Jill and the family will be at camp this year and be assured Mick will be there to watch over us.
In memory of Mick Rider Paul Button introduced the Memorial Shield, here being presented to Jill by Vicky Sawer, this shield will be enscribed with the overall winning village name each year and be hung in the bar where it will have pride of place.
